Well it was up on the lift at the exhaust shop. Had them install the subframe connectors. I took some shots for those who asked to see them.

Before mine, I had never seen a car that had any kind of exhaust in the center of the car. I wanted something different for shows. There wasn't any exhaust set up that I had not already seen a million of, be that out before the rear tires, out the side behind the tires, or straight out the back.

im sorry if i missed it....but what kind of exaust is that? it look nice.... i like it only the tips look a little too long for me.... i dunno i would of just gottin round slash tips..... is that a custom setup?...and is that a body kid you have on it? im just asking to see whats goin on there.... looks nice....i like it.... aight peace
Not something I'd do to mine, but as least somone is doing something new and different. (That applies to the entire car, not just the exhaust. You've done a great job and really personalized your car. Even if its not my style, anyone who mods a car and does it right gets some respect from me no matter what) I'll bet it'd look REALLY cool if the rear bumper cover was notched out and the tips were moved up about 2".

I like the tips on the new SS camaro's. Maybe someone has a pic. I saw one the other day with tips in the middle. Dont know if it was factory or not.

I have a flowmaster with custom routed outlets. I had them set the tips back so they would stand out a shows. you have to be careful though. I have smacked my shins pretty good. Have a scar as a reminder to be careful. I stepped up too far when I loaded a tire in the rear.
The body kit is of my own making. I added some pieces to an 84 gfx kit and have 92 Camaro side fx.

So are you going to keep the set up once you put a V8 in him/her/it?? It looks different but good. And since you don't have a 5" coffee can back there it is safe to say that you don't look riced out. Just my 0.02E

I'm not sure exactly what we will do with his exhaust. It will all be worked out once we get the engine in there. I'm trying to not make too many decisions before we know what we will be dealing with.

The exhaust tips out the middle look clean on the new SS's and corvettes because they have the contours in the GFX for the tips which helps the tips "blend" in with the car. That doesn't look too bad but i wouldn't do it to my car. But its your car and appearance is relative, so.......

Originally I wanted the tips to come out b/w the lower fin and the bumper, but there was not room to fit them b/w the 2.
The car will hopefully be getting painted after the new V-8 gets installed and the kinks get worked out. Since I will be messing with the exhaust and body anyway, I have thought about finding a way to build the effects around the tips. There is alot of body work that needs to be done to smooth out the rough edges, so to speak.
So its far from finished, but yes I would love to get the tips more flush with the body lines.
