Took off muffler/Sounds bad to the bone!

I took off my muffler today. I had the borla muffler on there but it sounded too quiet especially when you stepped on it. I went and got a 40series muffler flowmaster and tried that also. Sounds nice and rumbly at idle but when you opened it up it sounded quiet like the borla. So after all that i took off the muffler and wala! found the sound i was lookin for. The sound is nice a rumbly at idle and when your cruisin about 2000 to 2500 rpm there's a nice mellow tone to it. Reason why i took the muffler off was because i was puttin on the new flowmaster and didn't have the clamps. Was goin to the store later this weekend but i had to use my car so i just took off the muffler and drove it without it. The stuff sure sounds mean when you step into it. My cars a 1LE 5.7 liter auto by the way. I got the 3 inch exhaust tubing which i think was from Borla. I'm hopin to put some headers on there and see how much better the sounds will be and how much faster. Hey if you got any comments let er' rip!
Later dudes!

I also like how it sounds with no muffler, especially if you are still running single exhaust.
