would it be possible to put side pipes on a 1992 firebird and if so would it look good?

I don't think it would look good at all. On a 2nd Gen yes, but not a 3rd Gen.

how it looks is up to you. i dont think it would look good though. i dont know if it has been done but it has been talked about. try to search it

Seen it done before and it doesn't look very good. Sidepipes just don't work with our cars.
