Throwing Code After cat removal????

Ok, I cut the cat off today to add another step in my moneyless exhaust project. I also pinched the air tube closed for the smog pump. It ran fine and still does but about 5 hrs later (only 1 driving) my service engine light came on so i pulled into a parking lot popped the hood and looked everything over and it looked fine. Started it back up and the light is gone and hasnt came back yet. Any ideas anyone?

My first suggestion:
Take your smog pump and reverse the direction of the belt on it. I"m telling ya, this makes horepower. Where it hooks to the headers, undo that and plumb it using gutter helmets to keep the leaves out of the induction systemax at high rates of speed... 50-60 mph. Connect the in coming air pump tube to oil pan so that it removes the excess oil from the windage array! This will create a pressuration on the downstroke and a vaccum on the upstroke... upon removal this leads to a unanimous putty fart!

All you need is a paperclip. Do a search and you will find the info.
