hooker headers???

Are hooker headers any good? I'm looking at hooker competition headers for my TPI IROC(PN# 520-2460 in Jegs). I can get a really good del on a brand new set but I've only heard people talking bad about them. I've never seen anyone saying how much they love their hookers. Are they good headers?

They are really good headers. One of the best I would say. Just make sure to get them coated, that way they won't rust and your underhood temps will be much lower.

I just put on the super comps shorties and I love them. It was a pain to take off the old manifolds, but the hookers look great and sound even better. I will know what my car sounds like at the tail pipes when I get the pipe behind the Y pipe installed. It is open right now!! Shorty super comps comes with a Y pipe.
