Simple exhaust question...
I finally got my exhaust system bolted up (more or less). I still have to run the air hoses to the air tubes off the cats and hang a couple brakets here and there but for the most part ITS DONE! Anyway...I went with borla exhaust and catco cats. (i know how much some of you guys here have that love/hate relationship with borla) Personally Im pretty happy with the way my exhaust sounds. Was borla an easy bolt up???? HELL $#%$ing NO!!!! It took me forever to bolt it up and make it hang right! Anyway..when I rev up the motor I hear somewhat of a popping sound. Its hard to explain. My friend told me that since Im running 3 inch exhaust with a more or less bone stock motor that thats what my car is gonna sound like. He told me that maybe if I put a K&N cone on the throttle body (i have a TPI setup) that it might "smooth" out the exhaust noise. What do you guys think??
