Should I get headers w or w/o AIR

Should I get headers w or w/o AIR

It seems that I could get headers a lot cheaper if they don't have the AIR hookups. But what kind of problems would I run into if I didn't hook the AIR system up? Will I get a computer code? If I get headers w/o the AIR hookups, what brand would bolt right up with a built in O2 sensor?

Well it all depends on whether you need to pass smog or not.

If you dont need to pass smog.... Remove everything, pump hoses, valves, all that stuff. You should plug the pipe on your cat or just get rid of the cat all together. Removing the AIR system wont throw any codes, It also wont give you any HP increase by removing it, but it makes your engine bay look alot better and easier to work on. Dont just plug the hoses unless you remove the pump or you will have problems when the pump tries to pump air and its clogged.

If you don't need smog then get the non-air headers and rip out all the AIR system out of your car. You can get rid of your cat as well to free up even more power. Man you are lucky to have no smog I have to comply with CA laws
