i called summit and they told me that they dont have a 3 inch cat back from flowmaster for my car. only thing they have is 2.5....anyone know where i can get a 3 inch flowmaster cat back for my ride??????? can i just use the 86 cat back? if i cant find flowmaster, in gonna get the hooker cat back priced at 259.95. so if i find one, its a price game..........

 

the hooker one for early thirdgens is $199. The $269 is for the newer thirdgen one.

 

well according to the guy at summit, the 199 cat back is only 2.5 inches. so he said that the 3 inch one i want is 259.95...was he just a dumbass?

 

Hooker is designating their systems based on what factory system it will attach to.

Don't worry about the year model of your car, just order the 3" system. Don't know which Hedman headers you have, but you may have to do some adapting to get your no-cat system to hook up to the 3".

 

so its true that the 199.99 kit is a 2.5 the application is 83-?? non HO.. the 256.99 is for 83-?? HO.......which flowmaster kit out of jegs or summit can i throw on there thats got 3 inch back ? part number?
