What are the best headers for 383 w/475hp & 500 ft/lb tq?

I'm trying to decide what headers to get. At the moment, I have a L98, but in about 9 months, the headers will be going on the 383 that me and LottaBallsCamaro are building. It will be running about 475hp and 500 ft/lb of torque. I want headers that will work great on the 383, and not be too hard to install or too expensive. I've looked at so many different headers today, and I'm thinking about Hooker, but I wanted to see what kind of good/bad experiences yall had with any brand of headers. And I'm ripping all the AIR crap out, so I guess I'm looking for non-street legal ones.

I would go with Hooker long tubes, part number 2210, they have 1 3/4" primaries and should be good for that 383.

IMO SLP 1 3/4's. Always coat them.

I thought long tubes wouldn't fit on our cars.

Do those Hookers come with a y pipe?

Hooker and hedman make lt's that will fit, but sometimes you have to do some modification. You can get shorty's though that come with a y-pipe, but the lt's won't because you don't need it. There's no reason to put a y-pipe on lt's, you might as well have shorty's if you want/need to have a y-pipe.

i got the lt's on my car with 2.5" dual exhaust dumped under the rear seats with 40 series flowmasters. it supports my hypo 383 just fine. FWIW i came up with 474hp and over 500lb/ft on desktop dyno when i did my engine.
