The Best Bang for your Buck!

Between Flowmaster, Ravin and Hooker Exhaust, what would be the best bang for your buck?

The reason why I ask is because Ravin is my choice, but my wallet doesn't like the price. If I can get Flowmasters or any other Exhaust that is "as good" as Ravin at a cheaper price, I would do it.

Any help would be great!
Thanks!

Hooker catback is $200 from summit. Flowmaster catback is like $300 (if I remember, might be cheaper than that) It just depends on your preference which one you pick. Listen to some sound clips and decide from there. As far as performance, they're both about the same. Mark will be here soon, he has a sound clip of his hooker exhaust in his sig.

I like my Flowmaster. The Hooker flows a little better than the Flows but the Flows are louder than Hooker. I would save up a little more before you rush to get an exhaust for you can give yourself a nice selection of exhaust to choose from and won't have to settle for second best because of budget

I've got the Hooker system on my car and it sounds GREAT. I payed about $260 for it from jegs (shipping included). Its a little louder at idle than stock but in 4th gear at 3000rpm it really sreams...

$200 Hooker cat-back sound clip in the sig. Shifting at 4k rpms, with a NON hi-flo cat.
Once I get the exhaust leak fixed that I have now, I'll take some more sound files.

That sounds GREAT! It would sound great with my 305 CFI.

Now, is there anyone that puts on Hookers? I don't know if any shop has them. Could anyone help me?

That exhaust sounds GREAT Mark! Thanks for the clip, im sold!

Thanks, any exhaust shop should put it on, but you'll have to order it from Jegs or Summit, it's not in Sum catalog though. Also, the $200 has a square flange that bolts to the cat, it will need some fab work to work with any other type of cat. If you don't want to go that route order the $260 for your specific application, the only diff is the way it bolts to the cat.

No, I meant any particular shop that you can purchase the muffler there and they put it on, like Maidas puts on the Ravin's.

You do realize his exhaust is on a 350 right?? You'd probably be better going with that exhaust on a lower power 305 though although Flowmaster sometimes sounds great on anything.

Yeah, I said it would sound good on my 305 CFI. I am probably going to put Flows on since most shops around here sells/installs them in one visit.
