You should ask SLP, but if its for a single cat than it should as long as the 3rd and 4th gen has got the same wheel base but you know that the loudmouth basically doesn't have a muffler right? You could accomplish the same sound(not really since you don't have a LS1) but the same idea as loudmouth, if you ran a 3'' pipe from the cat back to a tip with no muff. Any muff shop would do it for you and you'd save $$

You can order the SLP and everything will go in fine except for the flange on the cat. If you just cut that off and weld a pipe from that to the y pipe it will work fine. A friend of mine did that on his 92 z28. Or you can just buy the loudmouth resognator (SP)

It would sound about the same... but the car won't sound nearly the same as a LS1 car even with identical exhaust. Won't be as loud, unless you've got a built motor with as much power as an LS, and the tone will be different because of the different firing order.

I actually considered it myself. However, after speaking with SLP I ended up going a different route. I went with the ATR pitbull system instead.

My personal opinion I wouldnt buy the resonator from SLP for 150 I just bought the whole system for 348 after shipping all it is a 3 in pipe going from about the rear of the tranny on back it looks like a glasspack but its hollow then a y pipe after that to 2.5 dual tips, If it was me I would just get either a glass pack and hollow it out because it just sounds like a car with burnt out glasspacks that resonator isnt worth 150 well to me anyways. I cant remember how 3rd gens exhausts route but my 94 runs under the pass. floor makes a sharp 90 then makes another sharp 90 right next to the drive shaft and about 12 back is where the loud mouth system hooks up. Hope this helps
