My searches have left me with no answers. Anyone with a T56 and Hooker LT's?

Who is running this setup on their thirdgen and has PICTURES. I personally don't think this setup is possible. The clutch slave cylinder is in the way. There definately isn't room for cats! Who has pictures and a story to tell?

Don't just reply saying you did it. I want ANSWERS and DESCRIPTIONS.

I feel I have to be straight forward to get some answers.

Thanks,

Wow, I know I came off sounding a little harsh, but I can't believe no one is running Hooker LT's with a T56. Come on guys, no one has done this??? Has anyone even tried???

Thank you,

Tom

I am sure someone has done this, but I am not that person. Try looking for LT headers to fit an LT-1. I would imagine they would cost more, but I am pretty certain the chassis on a 3 and 4th Gen are almost identical. B/c the LT-1 had the 6spd as an option, I'm sure there are headers out there to fit.

johnsjj2, I've thought about that but I'm not sure how they would clear the steering shaft and K-member on a 3rd gen. The only way to find out would be to try, but that would be an expensive test if it didn't work.

Thats true. $500 headers that don't fit is an expensive lesson. Have you tried searches on other websites? I know Zephyr (sp) on here is in the process of putting an LT-4 in his Bird backed by a T-5, or 56, I can't remember. See what he is planning for exhaust.
