Post sound clips of your custom exhaust!

I don't know if this has been done before on one big thread, but I didn't see anything in the search, so...

Post sound clips of your engine running with a custom exhaust! Tell what kind of exhaust setup you have and what engine. I'm just curious as I'm sure others are as to what kind of exhaust system to get and I want to hear 'em first. Plus, listening to a nice exhaust system makes me drool.

I'd post, but I sold my Thirdgen and it wasn't running anyway, and I haven't gotten my new one yet.

Jono: Nice deep tone!! Is that typical of Hooker exhausts?

Man... You just reminded me of all those Drag races last night @ the strip. Forgot the digital camera Cant show pix of the kick a$$ third gens There was this fight out there in the stands. These two dudes jump off the stands and start taking ****. Some people in the stands start throwing full beers at them. A few beers slid across the drag strip. The two people tried to run away but a good chunk of 60 people from those stands followed them. I was on the other side of the strip trying to see something. I saw this one dude getting beat down over there then lost sight of him. Few seconds later about 5 gun shots go off and half the people run off but the other half are still looking to beat some @$$. Well that goes on for 30 minutes till this phat 73 split bumper Camaro kranks up his engine. Some pro mod with nothing except headers. Well that got everyone back to the strip. Ahh the power of the sound of a engine running throgh only headers.

and here are the sound clips of my car

it's a 2 inch primaries going into a 2 1/2 inch collector

there is a front muffler made by racing beat hooked up to that

then it goes into a y pipe again and out to dual 1 3/4 inch pipe with the stock mufflers on the car

http://rx7speed.homestead.com/files/sounds/idle2.mp3

http://rx7speed.homestead.com/files/...inkin_park.mp3

and hey don't complain about the music I didn't try to make it that way. but instead trying to throw my tape recorder in the back of the car so I can get on it

I need to get some before and after sounds of my exhaust. I have stocks exhaust with a hole in it and soon I'm getting some Flows. Probably the 80s.

I tried to listen to Mark's from his sig the other day, but I got an invalid zip archive. It worked today though, man that sounds nice...

Rx7 I tried to listen to your wankel but it said it was busy. Stop having a busy wankel. :-)

Redbird, yeah I was thinking about the Flows with 80s too, but that's why I started this thread, to see which one I liked the most.

what I do is have a small little tape recorder and then when I am done getting my sound clip I hook the output of the tape recorder into the mic spot on my sound card.

then there is a thing called sound recorder that I use record the stuff and then post them online

I would have replied earlier, but I didn't consider mine custom. Ahh well, it sounds different now. Give me 2-3 days to get a sound clip. I use my laptop to record it.

Heres mine with just a stock muffler and headers but no cat. I wouldve used my webspace on my college account but im having problems with it. I had to use aol hometown, instead, which i hate.

Try closing the link and opening it again a couple of times, that usually works. The crappy servers wont always send the sound file. Dont try to save the link to your computer, wont work, just click on the link and open it. Not that anyone, including myself, cares that much but if your curious...
