Hedman headers - fitment facts

OK, did a few searches and I need clarification of fitment on the Hedman Shorty coated headers with Y-pipe. Is this a good fit or not. Several posts seem to say this system has alot of clearence issues (oil filter, starter, brake lines). But then again, these people may be talking about Hedman long pipe headers. Anyone who's got 'em, speak up.

Thanks, I saw the AC Bracket comment and i think I get what that's about. More concerned about needing to add heat shields to the starter and to the oil filter as a couple of posts implied.

you dont need a heat shield...well i didnt. i dont even have the coated ones, i have the plain ones and i spray painted them with high temp stuff before the install. i did put some heat wrap and extra high temp hose around my brake lines for insurance reasons
