Well, Before mark can say it I will. Hooker is a good sounding and good for the money muffler. I would replace the stock pipe with new pipe and get hooker cat back and some good headers. It should really good with out the cat on there. Also get some 3½ or 4 in long chrome tips for a little echo and looks.

Just my 2 cents!

I would reccomend the hooker cat-back. It's $200 from summit.

I would recommend the Dynomax.

It's only $159 from Jegs.

Are hooker cat-backs made from aluminum, so do they rust up quick? The quality is one thing i'm looking for, like stainless steel.

They're made out of aluminized steel which will last a long time. If you want stainless steel you'll have to have a custom setup or go with borla.

Really, hmm, then theres no reason i shouldnt get hooker. I just wanted to know how good they last. They should last better than stock thats for sure. Plus hooker has a great price compared to others, flows have a good price to. Now does hooker make ceramic coated headers to, cause i'm gonna get SLP, but if hooker as them, and there cheaper, well then i'll get those when the time comes.

Well i guess then thats one of the reasons borla is so expensive.

Hooker does make ceramic coated headers, however they only coat the outside and the first few inches of the inside. You can get them from jet-hot and they will be coated inside and out.

Hmm, another point for Hooker again, not bad, i could save alot of money getting hooker, instead of SLP too. But to get it from Jet it would be more i'm assuming. As long as its cheaper than like $650, which i think how much SLP sells them for, then its good.
