Are u talking about an 18 inch pipe or something..lol.
Cause u are not gonna find any exhaust system near $30, id say at least $150-200 range. I hear Hooker is good, and there pretty cheap.

well i knew it was gonna cost me but if its just like say 20 bucks more but i get 10 or more hp then its worth it. that kinda ****
You're not going to get a significant power increase from a $150 Dynomax to a $500 Borla; you're paying for different things. In that case you're paying for 3" stainless piping and the Borla name.
Cheapest? Go Dynomax.

The exhaust on your 305HO is the same exhaust that 305/350 TPI cars have. Stock on those cars, while perhaps not wonderful, is decent (I swapped in the L69 exhaust from manifolds back on my LG4. What was surprising was that the stock intermediate pipe was larger than the after market I was running at that time). Check the board for pics, especially of the y-pipe.

go with the hooker catback. i picked up the $200 one and all i had to change was the weird flange that was on the cat side. a little welding, and it was pefect. cant do better than this for the price. get some headman headers and y-pipe ($200) down the line and you'll be set

black how much did that whole set up cost. is it a kit or do u have to buy in pieces haveu installed it yet is it loud
thanks
thanks
Hedman Hedders -$100 USD
Hedman Y-pipe -$100 USD
Flow-tech cut-out -$30 USD
Keep your cat-back. This $230 dollar rig will outflow ANY cat-back system while uncapped. If you want to go fast for cheap, this is the way to go. I should mention that it is highly illegal to run uncapped on the street, but on the other hand ANY decent flowing setup won't be street legal.

Hey. Nope it's not a kit. Its the hooker headers and catback with a Catco Cat. Like Mark said Hooker headers $350
Hooker cat-back $200 and the 3" universal cat from Summit was $51. So it was about $600 total.

is there a way to run true duals and then when i have to smog it put the cats right after the mufflers or is that not possible u know wat im sayin **** the y pipe just have them go down the side and have 2 mufflers and when i have to go do smog just shove them into the end of the exhaust pipe

so is it hard to put a cat back into its original place and i have to have the mufflers in hte original place where doi put it if its dual exhaust
Black 91 Z28, i already have the hooker cat-back and Catco cat, do you have the prices and part#s of those headers and the y-pipe? also, those looked like AIR headers and I never had that, so are there non-smog headers that are cheaper and still work with the Y-pipe?

Yeah the 2055s headers do have AIR. I know Hooker has some other header but I'm not sure if they come without AIR and with a Y Pipe. Hey Mark do you know off hand?
