replacing header gaskets, need help

I am replacing my header gaskets w/ dead soft aluminum ones and I am having trouble getting the passenger side header back on. I got the first three bolts started, but I can not get the back three towards the firewall started. I have tried moving the header around, but I just can't get them started. Any ideas, or tricks to doing this? Please help

OK, A couple of quick ideas - You might remove the bolts you have in now and try starting the back ones first, that way at least maybe you can see what you're doing a little better. Or, you might try starting the center bolts first and working out from there. That's the best I can do off the top of my head. Good Luck.

Ditto here. I was trying to get away with the first three up front and ended up doing this.

When I put mine in I put one of the center bolts in to hold it up and then went back to front.
