Its about the only clip of them I've ever heard. According to the info, that sound is on an otherwise stock 99 cobra that still has all 6 cats. I Imagine without the cats, it'd be REALLY loud. But its not a bad sound at all. I think this might've been recorded on a dyno... because of that sound you hear at the end and how slow the RPMs are accumulating.

If you've got power they are really loud. Not sure if they are louder than 1 chamber Flowmasters though.

I just finished up my exhaust using these mufflers. I made a y-pipe of 2.5", ran that into the mufflers right where the cats use to be, and then y'ed the 2 pipes into a 3.5" pipe, and dumped it. It ends just about 1 foot back from the tailshaft. This exhaust is not louder than 1 chamber Flows. I had 2 of those with 3" pipes on my old LeMans, and those were so loud, they would give me a headache. These have a serious rumble to them. The idle is set at about 8-900rpm, and it idles real rough. At WOT, these have a unique sound. Almost like a Borla Loudmouth Exhaust. I would love to get a sound file, but all I have is a regular 8mm camcorder. If I can get my fathers digital camera, I will try to get a sound file and post it somehow.

i'm hoping to have between 490 and 500 flywheel hp n/a with hedman longtubes and dual 2.5 exhaust with an h pipe..... i hope the bullets and 2.5 can deal with the 500hp and the 100hp shot of n20 i'm going to throw into it!!!
thanks to everyone that replied, i think thats it will defanantly be bullets!!!!

i had the bullets before i put on the 40 series. to my ears there was absolutly no difference betweet sound or volume between the bullets and open headers. the 40 series have a mean sound to them when used on the "right" motor combination hehe. bullets are just loud as f**k period.

Depends on the year. Mine has 4 I know, But in 97 I think they started putting 6 on the GTs and maybe Cobras too, at least thats what I remember hearing. I know something like that was different after 97 that had to do with the cats. Oh well, I'll probably go research it cause now I wanna know, but probably won't post about it. Don't really wanna go in depth with mustang info on the thirdgen board.
