Come to think of it, it looks kind of like mine. I had to cut the pipe at angles and weld it together to do mine since I couldn't get anybody to bend it up. How long did it take you to do yours?

Isn't there anyway to run dual exhaust like that without the mufflers being on an angle like that?? Tips come out in the stock location, correct?? How much did it cost?? Any sound files yet??

two things.
1. Z Power if you are serious about getting the system, I can have one made, I am taking a camaro to Europe in April
its going to Spain and I am driving to Croatia, however, we could meet up somewhere and you could buy a set from me.
2. It is 3" Stainless steel, polished... $160 for 10 ft... thats CDN... so $100 for 10 ft.. $10/ft

IROCNParts, that offer sound pretty good to think about it, thanks
Do you have stock susp. on your car? Just thinking about ground clearance...

that is a really nice looking dual exhaust setup. I'd be afraid of ripping it out on a speed bump though...with it going under the rear axle. looks really nice.

in Burnaby, give me a call you can stop by the shop and see the other great stuff we sell, 604-729-2446
Looks nice, but I am not sure anyone on this post is willing to shell out $3000 for an exhaust, when a complete SLP setup for
about $800 w/headers works and looks just fine. That kind of money is better spent on a supercharger.

It was 2250 canadian all together he said which I dont have the exact conversion but I think that our money is worth about 1.5 times theirs in which case it woud have cost 1500 aproximanately. That isnt that bad if you plan on making serious power.

its actually stainless! =) Because I dont know why to be honest....
Now theres an approach I've never seen before! Props to you for doing something different. Probably sounds pretty good too. I'd like to see pics from teh back as well, but I can kinda imagine it.
Very nice job, looks great.
I am in the middle of my dual ex. install right now but mine will be somewhat different then yours. I was considering the exhaust to go under the rear axle, but decided against it. They will end up exiting in front of the rear wheels instead. Also, did you re-route the fuel lines and brake line? I notice that the driver side pipe is like right on top of where the fuel and brake lines route. Just curious..

That is impressive work. Do you do custom fabrication? I am LS1 swapping my thirdgen and need to run cats because of emissions requirements here.
I do not want to sacrifice performance for clearance. Your system appears to be a great compromise. Can you help?

hey Bill, I have to admit I really like my system, but I will tell you I am sacrifising ground clearance issues, I have no room at all... 1.5" or so... it flows great but daily driving will be awful. There is a few people in every city who are capable of doing a job like mine, my suggestion is talk to some people, im sure you will find a person near to you, (you dont want to drive to Canada for exhaust =) hehe ... ) but remember, the most expensive system isnt always teh best, and cheapest is probably cheapest for a reason, lol, but it sounds like ure spending money either way so you wont be cheapin out! best of luck, let me know if I can help

Thanks. If possible I would like to send you pictures of other peoples solutions for your input.
I also am thinking that I could do a variation using that oval pipe. There is a company that makes it in 4" width and they handle the conversion from round to oval.
BILL
P.S. Do you know of any good fabricators in the US? I am willing to travel a reasonable distance if the work is good. PA, OH, VA, etc.

the oval piping is a definate smart idea, as for people in your area, I havent really delt with anyone from down south yet.... not for custom fabbing, but im sure with some patience and some phone calls you'd find someone capable =)

wm_.. 2.5" duals will fit w/o having to use oval pipe or giving up any (real) ground clearance if you put the mufflers outback. (The block of wood is a temp exhaust support until I can find some time to finish the back and put some hangers on which.. might be tonight...). Clearance right now, with the spring isolaters temp. out in the back & a flat on the pass side, is 5" from pipe to floor, front to back.

i have to say that the car looks awesome. every part. i was wondering, even though it's not the topic, but why didn't you take out the stock air box after you put the supercharger in. i figure it will take off at least a couple pounds. anyways it looks great.

Thanks guys,
It looks like the trick is to stay inside those frame rails close to the trans. Does this produce any heat issues with the trans?
Deadbird, can you send a bottom shot if you have one?
