Would it be worth it to do Headers to Dual Flowmasters on a 305 or should I just slap Flowmasters where the Mufflers are now and leave the manifolds and cat stock.

I'd just get headers and a cat-back.

I'd suggest Hooker all the way back. Search for sound clips on this board, mine is in the sig.

depends on what you want from teh car, headers will be a huge improvement over stock without a doubt. y not buy headers that will be good on a 350 if you plan on doing that somewhere down the road? IMO headers are a great mod

Yeah I do plan on doing a 350 as soon as I can afford it.

so do a little research around the exhaust boards and pick a pair that you like, just make sure they'll be interchangeable with the 350, which most are. The big names that are most often recommended around here are Hooker and Edelbrock, for those on a budget the Hedman's, and then if you get deep pockets SLP is your best bet. Just do a little more investigating theres tons of information to get you started
