ive been hearing an exhuast tick a while, i thought it was the cat/ intermediate pipe connection, so i put an Edelbrock cat back on ( sounds great by the way), but i can still hear an obnoxiously loud ticking noise, could it be the manifolds? anything else it could be? id appreciate any help you could give me

 

ticking?,as when it cools down? if your driving over bumps its probably hitting up around the axle. my muffler swings back and forth even though its tied up realy tight.makes a really annoying ticking noise,so I just turn up up the radio untill I fix it.

 

it is probably the exhaust manifold leaking. check the connections to the y-pipe and cat too. i have it too...but i am too lazy to check any of the above LOL. im just gonna replace it all....headers, cat, catback. later

Man if my camaro were a rice-rocket all those mods would give me what...easily 50-60 hp!!!

 

I have a ticking sound coming from under the car, it kinda sounds like its right before on of the cats, maybe inside, but in that area, I can only hear it from outside so its not too annoying, but I wouldn't mind figuring out what it is. I think im going to replace my cats when i get headers and hopefully it will go away.
