Which dynomax is going to be quieter
The bigger Ultra flow welded oval or the Ultra flow round.
This will be used behind hedman longtube on my 383 as true duals with dumps. Both are probably going to be loud and I don't want the po-po attention. Clearance is another concern and the rounds would be nicer for that.

I'm gonna guess that the oval would be quiter.
The only reason I say that is it might seem quiter because it will be lower pitched. The bigger a resonance chamber is, the lower pitch the sound will be. Lower pitched sounds are not as harsh on our ears, so we ignore them easier. Plus there's gonna be more of that "CRF" stuff in there to dampen the sound.
As I said though, it's just a guess.

I have the 3" Ultra flow oval with E-brock TES & no cat. Its okay until you get on it, then it raps like a glasspack.
