Sound clips or sound descriptions of TES and/or Edelbrock Cat-Back
Would anybody happen to have recordings on their computers of Edelbrock TES and/or Edelbrock Cat-Back? I'm really looking for TES with a Catco cat and the Edelbrock cat-back on an LO3 with a 14x3 K&N open element...if you have anything like this, would you please post it or tell me where I can get to it? That would be just great...
If not, could you just tell me what it sounds like compared to other systems? Is the tone deep? How loud? Most, is it fun to drive with that exhaust? Thanks fellas...

Hmm, well I have the Edelbrock TES Headers and a custom 3" exaust w/o the cat and Flowmaster 80 Series. Has a very nice rumble to it at idle. Not to loud but just perfect. Then when u hit the gas and rpms hit 2500+ then it gets loud and 3000+ it gets REALLY LOUD! Not so loud to where it would drown out ur stereo so u couldn't hear it, but if u had gear whine before and u put my exaust system on it, u wouldn't be able to hear it whine anymore, just exaust.
I do know that the way the exaust tips are mounted u can make it quieter inside the car then outside. I belive if u point the tips toward the ground the noise isn't so loud in the car. Mine aren't pointed down though, there right below the bumper straight out. Anyways, I love driving my car, everyone I talk to loves the sound and knows when I am coming down the road.

Edelbrock does have actual sounds of their TES exhaust on a variety of cars and trucks and under different conditions, i.e idle, acceleration, full-throttle, etc. Go to their website, www.edelbrock.com Either play it online or download it and play it back on Windows Media Player.
