Sound Advice
Ok, i'm gutting my cat on Weds (2 days) and need some advice on how it would sound. I have a Flowmaster 80 series. Is it going to be loud, sound like rice? what should i expect, i like the sound now it rumbles nicely but want more horsepower from the exhaust. I'm racing on Sat so i need this power, just want opinions on how it sounds.

if anything its going to sound louder, and as long as your not putting a resinator anywhere on ur exaust, you wont sound like a weedwacker on a bad trip.......

It will be louder, but it won't be a clean sound. I've heard a couple including my own, and my brother's, and they both were very loud, but the sound was very gargly and almost sounded like it was broken. A high flow cat cured the problem, and both cars are still loud, but the sound quality is much better.
