Cheap Hooker Problems

Misleading post title isn't it! (She gave me herpes!:mad seriously, I'm thinkin about getting a pair of Flowtech Headers (have to pay for V.D. clinic :P ). I know you guys always say go for the expensive SLP headers, they are sweet, true but they are way outta my budget. I was wondering if there are any problems that might happen on like a long trip, say 250-300 miles of continous operation. Would it warp the flanges? Would something else bad happen? What could go wrong that would stop a trip? Also, does Hooker make cheap emission-legal headers? Part number would help. thanx

Dude, You can get SLP's cheap right Now. 350 for the set! you can getthem Jet-coated to for 215(incl shipping) extra. This is a hell of a deal! Check out the group buys in the main section of the boards. Check it out and see what you can handle. The headers are 409 stainless so they will last forever but the jet coat makes them look cool. I'm not going to getmine coated becuse that is out of my budget. Hope this helps

Later,
Lars
