Do you really need 90 degree plug wires for TES TBI (#6875)installation? Aside from real gaskets, etc., do I need anything else? Thanks...

------------------
'89 RS LO3- 140,000 miles
14x3 K&N Open Element
Ram Heavy Duty clutch (yes, I think it's great)
Dual .50 caliber machine guns just under ground effects

Coming very soon:
Edelbrock TES (Jet-hot coated)
Catco cat
Edelbrock 3" Cat-back
KYB shocks
Edelbrock Strut Tower Brace
South Side Machine subframe connectors

When your buddy reaches for a 10-pound sledge and says "I think we're gonna have to modify the floor pan, okay?" the answer is NO.

I ordered a custom set of plug wires from Accel, the 8.8mm ones for my L98, some of the boots were 90*, some were straight.

YAH, I'm definitely getting them jet-hot coated...for like $276...what a rip-off...anyway, are the new plug wires necessary? I'm in enough debt as it is, I really don't want to have to buy any more stuff...I'm already getting decent gaskets, anything more?

I found a place that will coat inside & out for 150. I have to dig up the URL so if you want it let me know...by the way their coating is shiny

I suggest getting a universal plug wire set with the 90 degreee plug ends...this way you can cut the wires to the EXACT length you need. This and some good wire separators will prevent your wires from getting fried. With headers this is the only way to go IMO.
