FAST BURN HEADS...WHICH HEADER ?

I HAVE A 383 WITH FAST BURN HEADS. MY QUESTION IS THIS......THE GUY AT HEDDMAN TOLD ME THAT THE ONLY HEADER I CAN USE IS THE D-PORT EXHAUST HEADER FROM PACEPARTS.COM.
CAN ANYONE OUT THERE CONFIRM OR DENY THIS?

Please stop yelling! I have Edelbrock's TES on my ported Corvette L98 heads with D-Ports and they work fine.

I have the fastburns on my zz430 I have been told also that it takes special headers. Sanderson and jim pace both sell the headers for the heads. Sanderson's are only 1 1/2 so im going with some from jim pace

Sorry for yelling CamaroMike, it won't happen again.:0
AustinT- I called Jim Pace about the header ( D-Port Header , part #684969 )and he told me that it is a 1 5/8" to a 3" collector. they are made of steel for $169.95 , or add $200.00 for ceramic coating. The part number above is for the ceramic coated ones. He also told me that a guy that works there, bought a set of Hooker Super Comp's for his Fast Burns and kept blowing header gaskets until he purchased a set of EARLS Pressure Master gaskets. He hasn't blown a gasket since. So you can go either way , but I think I'm going the D-Port route. Hope this helped you.

Thanks LILRED383

Yeah Im going with some of D shaped headmans also just to make it that much easier. When did you call them? last time I called they said they were out of headers and they were waiting for more from headman.
