Hedman says thier longtubes wont fit with the stock floor pans. What kind of modifications do I need to do to get them in. What gains should I expect with the Hedman full lengths, True dual flowmasters dumped and an open element K&N on a '92 RS 305 automatic?

Thanks,
Steve

Those may cause a lack of low end torque for a stock L03. You would need S extensions, I believe $23 in summit.

I plan on gettin the coated ones actually.

You're best bet would be some Hooker 2055s, shorty style 1 5/8th headers.

They fit the stock floorpans fine...I dont know why they say that. They are a tight squeeze but can be installed if the car is WAY up in the air. Then they could be put in from the bottom. They are nice headers but will need a coat of paint straight out of the box.
I dont think youll loose to much low-end unless you run duals like I did then you might. With my setup idle-2000rpm sucks but after that its very nice.....car is scary now compared to what it was.

I had no problems with the floorpans when I put my Heddmans in...actually putting them on the engine itself was another matter....
