opinions on 3.5" mufflex catback?

what do you guys think of this 3.5" mufflex exhaust for our cars? has anybody had any experience with these? is the price good? im talking about the 82351C. it is the one on the top.

this would be for my ~350 hp camaro. im debating between a setup like this or dual 2.5" exiting the rear. if i can make duals exiting at the rear, ill do that....but this is my alternative.

3'' cat-back will be fine for 350hp.

Though I'm going the dual route.

WTF?

Denny posted a picture of my car on his website and never bothered to get my permission. Hhmmmmmmmm.

Maybe I should send him an email and ask if he wants a quote from me about what I really think of his system.

Where do you want me to start.

It took one of the best custom exhaust places in central Iowa over 6 hours to install it. Pipes were to long, not frab'd correctly, didn't line up correctly with the y-pipe after the dual cats, etc. We had to cut the over axle pipe and re-weld it to get it to clear and not rub (it was 2 peices of pipe welded together to begin with). Then when completely assembled as delivered, the IM pipe hung down at least 1.5 inches in the back, right at the bend to join with the over axle pipe. We had to remove the y-pipe from the cats and add a small piece of pipe between each cat and each tube of the y-pipe to get it to line up correctly. So, after more than 6 hours and spending the better part of $400 just for the install, I have a 4" exhaust system that fits about the best that one possibly could. In hind site, I should have keep the PERFECTLY fitting $229 Flowmaster 3" system that I had. Unless his QC has gotten a WHOLE lot better, the MuffCRAP systems are not bolt on systems as many people seem to think. BTW, Mufflex doesn't bend the 4" pipe, 2 companies make it for him, I know people at both companies and they say the only that has changed is the over axle pipe. It's all one piece now. Hhmm, think he had a problem If I had to do over I'd run a 3" system with a muffler from Straightline Performance. Just my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.

Thumbs up here..

I have the 3.5" w/ the spintech muffler. Sound, fit, and looks are outstanding. The tailpipe tucks up under super nice. Here are a few pics:

I have the 3.5" with spintech also. It fit fine, no problems, i had the car on the lift and dropped my old exhaust and installed the mufflex in about hour and a half including the drop time of my old exhaust.

does anybody know which muffler is used for the flowmaster mufflex system? it just says race series...and there is nothing labeled race series on flowmasters site.
