Got my new muffler today....

My Stainless Steel Ultra Flo Dynomax arrived today, boy it's a beauty. You can see your reflection in the darn thing it's so shiny. The straight through design is no joke. Even though it's a crossflow, the part that connects to the tailpipes is actual pipe on the inside, non-preforated. The only part that is preforated is the entrance from the intermediate pipe. then at around 2/3 of the way down, there is an exit that leads to the straight thru portion where the tailpipes go. Looks pretty awesome.
I got it for 58 buckaroos shipped!!! E-Bay!!! Look for them, the come up every week!!!

cool. dynomax makes some excellent mufflers. i had the super turbo on my car for a while simply because it was the cheapest cat back you can get. but it just wasn't loud enough. after i got another $70 i bought the flowmaster 80 series and swapped it in and it was still cheaper than the comparible flowmaster cat-back. BTW bullets sound nice too

Yes I do....

Yup. The part # is 17266. I hope you are not gonna buys this anywhere other than Ebay, cause it'll cost you at least 160 bucks.
This muffler outflows every crossflow on the market, even borla.

This one is no comparison to the regular super turbo...

The Dynomax Ultra Flow Welded muffler #17227 will out flow it.

3" in/ two 2 1/2" out. 940cfm compared to 573 cfm with #17226.

Just giving you a rough time.

Yeah that's correct, but the welded is a 3 inch inlet, not 2.5.

Don't forget that the designs on these mufflers are almost identical except one is welded and one is stainless.

I meant that this is the king of crossflows for 2.5 inch all the way around.

No problem, it's not a hard time.

I wonder how the quality of the Dynomax exhaust system is?? It would be cool to just buy their system and swap a Flowmaster 80 Series in and just get some different tailpipes and tips. Probably not as good as going with all Flowmaster stuff though I guess.

If you put one of these mufflers on the super turbo system it would be much better than the flowmaster considering the quality of the dynomax muffler is much better. It's a stainless steel piece, lasts a lifetime, or at least the lifetime of your car. Swapping mufflers has no effect on the performance of the remaining parts of the system. If it's mandrel bent pipe, and it's the same size, it's all the same!!! Like I said, get one off of Ebay for 60 bucks, instead of buying a flowmaster for 85 bucks or so. Then sell the super turbo muffler on ebay!!
