i just bought my 88 birf and the catalytic and the clamps holding it are broken...Would i cause a problem if i remove the catalytic and just connect the pipes with another pipe.There is no more emissions test im miami so dont worry about that...what would the outcome be?

 

I hollowed out my catalytic converter and the only problems I got was a stronger gas smell out the exhaust because there was nothing to keep it in anymore,but it isn't that strong.And if you have no more emissons tests down there go ahead and cut it off,more flow.
