flowmaster cat back

does the flowmaster cat back one for camaros come with the 80 series muffler like the duel pipes coming out. Thankx....

i just checked they say 50 series if i can get them to put 80 series u think it would be better with 80 or stay with the 50 series

they offer both. if you go to their website you can download a pdf application chart. the single side exit has a 40 series I do belive. it is actually sounds better in my opion but I like dual out. It is a bit of a trade off.

I have the 3in. American Thunder cat back,it has the 80 series muffler and 3in chrome tips on opposite sides.pn #17233.Don't know what cat you have but i replaced mine with a 3in. catco(pn #2607)at the same time and everything fit great.

I have the Flowmaster 80-series, and I really think that f-bodies look much sweeter with dual outs. I don't have tips on mine, but did however get the tips of the 2.5'' exit pipes mandrel bent down; mainly for bumper-clearance reasons ('91 T/A ground effects are low as heck)... but because the sound deflects off the pavement, there's more exterior resonance ...a great side-effect of the bent-tips. 80-series is the way I think you should go if you wanna' keep a traditional f-body look.
