yet another problem...

has anyone else had a problem with the #5 primary on the 1 3/4 slp's? i cant get the stud to even fit in the header!! what can i do to fix this?

man those headers are causing you some stress! sorry i cant help you not doing headers any time soon..

Are you saying that the bolt won't fit through the flange, or that the bolt hole doesn't line up with the hole in the flange? Assuming that it's a misalignment problem, you might try unbolting the header and bolting it up starting in the center and working your way out. That way, maybe you can wiggle the header around and get them to line up. If the hole in the flange is in the wrong location, you could carefully elongate the hole (don't make it too big) until it bolts up. If the bolt hole is simply undersize, carefully drill it out. Without seeing it, this is the best I can do. Good Luck.
