rusted cat back
i have a flowmaster cat back set up on my car, and the tubing that goes over the axle is rusted out. Would it be smarter to just get it patched up, and wait for another hole to appear, buy a new cat back set up ( which I don't really want to do), or does any one know where i can purchase the replacement 3" mandrel bend piping?
Once a exhaust system starts to go, its a waste of time trying shoemaker repairs. Next time buy a all stainess Steel Catback system. Unless you are a person who always wanted to run without a exhaust.

Only thing is stainless is kinda expensive. Worth it I'm sure in the long run but, sometimes its not quie within the budget. It took 14 years for mine to get like this... (stock, before I got it replaced) so I'd assume most last a while even non-stainless. Varies a lot from brand to brand too, I've heard Dynomax F-body exhaust rusts quickly, and MAC has a bad reputation with the Mustang crowd for it too.

i was unaware of SLP making a stainless exhaust for us....
Is it similar to the loud muth? I'd love something a bit more rowdy on my car. I am un happy with the Flowmaster anyways. Any suggestions?
