header question....help quick!!
i bought a set of edelbrock headers for my newly built 350 thats going in place of my old 305 on my 84 TA....my question is what do i do with all the emissions lines that were on the old manifold? do i need that stuff? what other emissions do i need to get rid of....since emissions tests are never done here....
and should i get rid of the cat. converter? or gut it out?.....anyhting else i should do?
i wish i could put true duals on but thats probally lots of work
thanks

Here in MI you dont need any of it. i pulled my smog pump, all associated tubes and vacuum, unneeded vacuum lines to the carb, and manifold, and ran a straight exhaust instead of a cat. My camaro is carbureated so i pulled the comp as well. Remember, you only need three vacuum lines, 1 to your power brakes, 1 to your vacuum advance distributor, 1 to your wipers. if you run an automatic tranny you need one to that as well.
