I currently have a straight pipe put in where the cat once was. I now want to try adding a cutout to it. Trouble is, I want "performance on command". None of this stop, get outta the car, remove cutout cap stuff. Is there any way of doing this? TIA

yes J.C. whitney has them for $40.00. They come with a cable that u can install in your dash to slide the cover or put the cover back on the cutout. Dont really know to much about their quality, but i do know they sell it,hope this helps.

There's an electronically activate one too. I've seen two different ones. One from DMH motorsports and one from Empire motorsports.

Empire's got a link off www.nethirdgen.org... I don't know the DMH site off hand.

remote cut outs work pretty well, used to use them all the time in the 70's when street racing. you can put the cable pulls under the front edge of the front seat, no one will no they're there until you open it up. sounds real good if placed right behind the header collecter. if you don't get enough tension on the cable the flap door will rattle a bit. good luck.
