Stock pipe size on 88 GTA

Stock pipe size on 88 GTA
whats the stock exhaust pipe size on a 88 L98 GTA.....my pipe is like 2.5 in. or 3 in. piping all the way back to the muffler....I want to put a Flowmaster 40 series with a dump on the car but I think it would be too loud what do you all think for a daily driver, mind you thats when I put the headers on too....AARON

Stock intermediate pipe is 2.75" IIRC.A dump will be loud with headers if you have no cat..with a cat may not be to bad.I would go with a full cat back..if just to keep fumes out of the car.I had a dump on my Z for awhile and got tired of it quickly..always getting headaches from the fumes.

watch out there markB...I am mexican rather...of hispanic culture...and I eat mexican food every day....I don't get sick unless there is chingos of salsa...but you got a 3rd gen so your cool....AARON
