header smell?

i just put on heddmen headers ceramic coated, when it warms up it smells kinda like burnt candles or rubber burning the spark plug wire/boots are fine, is this the smell from the coating on the headers till they break in?

I had a funky smell and smoke coming from mine, but i think it was because I ddint coat them and that was the paint burning off. It is most likly something touching the headers like plugs or something else.

Its the paint on the headers burning off. Give it a while it should be fine. Check for something laying across the headers just to be on the safe side though.

not the paint, there ceramic coated, nothing is touching them, i was asking if it was the ceramic coating that's burning in cause the headers are new
