porting your TES
porting your TES
Can you port Edelcrock's TES headers where it hooks to your heads? I can get some TES headers from a friend that is selling them for cheep and has only been on his car for only a few days. He has ported them and said that he has seen it happen once on hotrod TV or something like that and I was wondering if it was really ok to port the headers?

Yes you can do that. Edelbrock left some nasty looking welds so they need some cleaning up. I was going to do this to mine but was in such a rush to get them on, I never did. Guy I talked to said you can pick up around 5 hp by cleaning that area up some.

Edelcrock's headers need a lot of cleaning up, porting, and help.
