i have a 305tbi with open element, and Hooker LTs, so basically its stock....it chokes at the top end with the hookers, could it be a lack of gas (only 2 injectors) or is it purely cuz im running open y pipe right now?

What do you mean "chokes" ? It coughs and sputters? Or do you mean it stops pulling?
