Yeah I made it for my car. Hedman LTs, dual 2.5" and magnaflow mufflers (actually resonators).

It's all tucked up nicely too. When I ran it through just the x-pipe it sounded like an exotic. Kinda like a Viper or Lamborghini-ish thing but with less cylinders and a whole lot louder.

I got a dr gas x pipe on my 4th gen with bullets and you cannot beat the sound. They also have great clearance, the collectors are the only part of the exhaust that scrapes...

Well I just got back from dynoing the car.

Anyone wanna take a guess at the numbers?
Mods on my '90 T5 LB9 are:
Hedman LTs
2.5" X-pipe with Magnaflows
MSD plug wires, cap, rotor
TB mounted K&N (trying to make the list longer)
and that's it.

I can get pics of the ground clearance when I find the damn memory card for my camera.

Anyone without a welder has gotta do that if they need exhaust to go with their new long tube headers.

CheezX, I did feel a big difference going to the X, but I went to the X from the stock LG4 exhaust! I'll tell you nothing beats the sound of an X over 4,500rpm!

who did your bends etc? You?

Def. post some pic's of clearance etc...

Like I said Im soon to order Dr.Gas oval pipe just for better clearance since I have my car lowered a little. but Your X pipe looks great. maybe we can work something out for one of your setups instead.

I do Powdercoating and would deff. trade some work for work.

Here's a pic of the ground clearance. I reused the old axle-back part of my system. The driver's side pipe could be tucked in a bit better.

My car is lowered 1". Ground clearance is 2" at the the header collector flanges. From there back its 2.5", even under the axle.

I used Dynomax U-bends and spliced them together. The x-pipe sits in the space right under the tranny tailshaft. Its offset to the passenger side to clear the torque arm then run back under it before the torque arm gets bigger.

Yeah, I got a pair of nice shiny R.I.C.E.R. fart cannons!!

Actually they're Magnaflow resonators and I haven't put any tips on to hide them yet. They do look really weird right now. I'm gonna tuck 'em in a bit more so only the tips would be visible.
