I recently put slp headers on my 91z 305 5-speed w/everything stock except the chip and slp cat-back. I have a huge leak at the one collector because i had to rebend the y-pipe coz i had aftermarket cats. My car now feels slower. Can this be attributed to the fact taht it has a leak or could the headers barely make my car any faster(not enough to feel). Thanks Derrick

 

Big leaks kill perfomance in a big way. I just redid mine and it made the car feel new again. Do yourslef a favor and double gasket it, and use NEW stainless nuts, bolts and lockwashers. 1 hour, tops.
