Headers to Brake Lines Clearance

How much room should there be between headers and brake lines? Right now they're just kind bent out of the way but it's awefully close.

Do they need to be routed on the other side of the steering column?

I moved mine to the other side of the steering column. It just looked too close to me. Don't want the fluid boiling do we?

Did you use the stock lines or buy new ones? Is it hard to move them over there?

I moved the stock lines. Disconnect, bend very carefully, reconnect.
