Get headers with your car first, It's what really gives you a performance gain and it will make the car sound louder. Don't get anything too big, I think in Jegs Hooker Shorty headers look nice and are around the price of Edelbrocks TES. But for the rest of the parts, looks good. I ran a 15.5 @ 88 mph on my old rs with edelbrock headers/edelbrock catback/373s/underdrivepulleys/open element. so thats an idea of what your car might run on the same altitude

Well if you want to listen to stupid advice, get the headers before upgrading the rest of the exhaust. That way any flow improvements, which are made by the headers, will be negated by the restrictive fatory cat and catback system.
When improving the exhaust, work from back to the front(unless you can afford to replace the entire exhaust at once). There's no point removing one restriction, and leaving another restriction downstream.

A good catback will yield the best bang for buck($$$ per hp), and will make sure you get full value for any mod that follows.

Expect to pay $125 - $150(3" Catco) for a lowend cat, up to $300(3 1/2" - 4" Random Tech) for a top quality cat. Keep in mind you get what you pay for. Get an adapter to step up from the y-pipe(2 1/2") to the cat(3").

K&N's are nice because they are reusable, but don't expect more than 2 - 4 hp improvement. And to be realistic, you'll need two filters. That way you'll have a clean filter to put in while the dirty one is being cleaned and dried(and running an open filter arrangement will ensure it takes less time to make it dirty).
