Post pics of your Hooker cat back.....also a few related?'s
I am going to buy the hooker cat back in the next couple days. Is it fairly easy to install? I am going to have it done and I was wondering about how much in labor it would cost. I have heard estimates from $40 to $150. Are the chrome tips exchangeable? My car is Red metallic and I am afraid that the chrome tips won't look all that hot. Chrome looks better on yellow, black, red and orange as opposed to the metallic red. The current exhaust that I have now have black anodized pipes and I was kinda looking for the same effect. Does any one sell black tips that I can put on the hooker cat back. Post some pics if you have them especially if you car is the same color as mine

Don't have someone intall it for you. It's fairly easy. I did mine in 4 hours with the rear of the car on ramps in a driveway. the toughest part is getting the old cat bolts off. If you twist one off, put a socket on it and finish breaking it off then drill right through the center of the bolt and use new hardware to secure the new cat-back. It's fairly simple. Have a couple of jackstand handy of you are doing it by yourself.
Just get everything up there and bolted in loosely then arange everything where it needs to go the snug evertyhin up good. drive it and retighten everything again.

Easy job. Only problem I had was that one of the hangers on my car was not the same as the fitting for the catback (passenger side right behind the driveshaft). It was fairly easy to make one though. You might want to check the hangers yourself before you pull the old system off. In case you have to go to the hardware store to pick up something to make the catback fit. Probably not a good idea to drive around without one
