What's better?

Heddman headers, Hooker Super Comp Shorties, or Edelbrock TES? All w/ Y-pipes. Thank you.

I would choose hooker, but many people like hedman too. I would avoid the eldbrock tes headers though. They are not a very good design from what I have read.

Ben

agreed on all counts, I know my edels I didn't like the way the pipes ran, as inmaking tune ups easy or not. I've seen the Flowtech header pipes and very nice design, though, pipe design shouldn't be your main focus

As for the coment on the Flowtech's yes, they are a nice header, but the y-pipe is a turd ball. - For a complete bolt-on header system I'd definitely go w/ the Hooker super comp set-up.

I never said they were a good header, I just said the pipe design made tune ups easy.

I know it's not in the list. but in HPP or GMHTP recently, the ceramic coated Dynomax headers were used by the guy who has an 89 Formula 305 TPI just like mine, and he said he was very satisfied with the results. Just letting you know. I was rethinking my Edelbrock choice after looking at that article-and apparently, these ceramic coated ones are onlu like $450.00!
