ok has anyone seen or better yet heard these?? ok i love them...i want one for my bird but on slp online it says it's only for 98 or newer....i thought the exhaust was the same?? 1 in and two out.... can i get the system without changing anything???

 

you can just contact slp and find out the specifications of the cat, to make sure that they bolt up. parts will not always list everything that they will work on, kind of like the '95 rear end I put on my '86, which was only supposed to fit '93 and later. check itjout though, it may fit. I can't tell you for sure, I don't know to much about SLP.

 

I looked into this awhile back. I went to the SLP performance parts message boards and asked on there. It probably will not just bolt up, due to differences in cat locations and stuff. SLP sells the resonator by itself for under $100. Just buy that and have an exhaust shop put it in-line, then a pipe that Y's into two for dual/single tips,or dual/dual tips. I have heard sound clips of the system on an LS1 and an LT1, and it sounds bad a$$!!!!

I just heard a 2000 Z28 with the SLP Loudmouth last night and it sounds awsome. Definetely gets looks. The only downside is that the drone is horrible going down the highway.

 

Couldn't you just get the muffler and have your local welder set it all up from there? I was planning on doing this with a B&B muffler... but no one sells just the muffler
