Does anybody know if hedmans 69470 will fit on corvette D port heads

I want to buy a set of the hedman headers 68470 for my 88 camaro, right now I have the stock heads, but I will swap them next year for the corvette D port shape exhaust heads.
What I want to know is if this headers are going to fit the corvette heads.
Thanks

I've heard that 1 3/4" headers are what you need for the D-port heads.

I asked Hooker what headers would work with the D shaped exhaust ports on my Fastburn heads. The replied stating their #2210 Supercomp Long tubes were the ones to use with those heads. I think any header with 1 3/4" primaries would do a good job of covering the ports.

Shoot... after removing the exhaust manifolds on my lg4 heads, I'm not convined that the d- port covers more area....maybe the runners flow better? I'd say the 1 5/8" headers will take care of the d- ports

I have GM Fastburns (not yet on the 400 being built) and also have 1-3/4" SLPs.

The Fastburn head exhaust ports are LARGER than the SLP tube flange openings.

The 1-3/4" SLP's opening actually measured 1-3/8" while the Fastburn exhaust port is at minimum 1-1/2".

Time for the grinder.

The D ports on the older Corvette heads may not be as big as the Fastburns so the 1 5/8" headers might work with them.
