Has anyone done the SLP 1 5/8" headers without replacing motor mounts and still fit????????????????

Engine: Can you say stroke?!?!
Transmission: 700-r4
Axle/Gears: 3.42
I havn't done the 1 5/8 but I have done the 1 3/4 inch SLP headers. Didn't have to change anything. Hell, the mounts are the original ones in the car.

This is not to say you will or won't but you may have to put a small dent in the header to keep it rubbing on steering shaft.

I've installed the 1 5/8 SLP headers on my 92RS and no, I did not have to remove the motor mounts. Follow the link:
