I need i good set of headers
What are the best headers for a 1989 TBI firebird with single y pipe and i dont need the heat stoves because i have an open element air filter. And also is there a big difference if i wrap the headers or just leave them in the chrome finish. Or heat treated them.

Define "best".
Best value? Best fit? Best performance with the TBI engine as-is? Best potential for future improvements?
Personally, I don't think you can go wrong with Hooker 2055's. The y-pipe won't hook directly to your cat inlet, but you can either get a 3" cat to put in there, or adapt to fit your current cat. Edelbrock TES have been used by a bunch of guys. SLP makes a good (although slightly pricey) product. You can get Pacesetter headers from JC Whitney that would work fine on your car as-is.
TES is the only one I know who chromes theirs. Most are either painted (shipping paint, which will burn right off), or ceramic coated. I have no idea what you mean by "heat treated".
